Hi! I’m Jenna, I’m a double major in Russian and Human Development and an International Development minor. I’m pre-law and I hope to go into International Law! I served a mission in Yekaterinburg Russia, I’ve studied at the Jerusalem Center, and been involved in humanitarian trips to Ghana, Jamaica, and Nepal. I love running, reading, traveling, and doing new things.
I love the Ballard Center! I can honestly say it has changed my life. Because of the Ballard Center I know what I want to do, and how I can make a difference. I have been involved in the Social Venture Academy, Ballard Brief, and I’m a TA for the Do Good Better class. If you don’t know what you want to do in the Ballard Center, or what it entails, I’m your girl! No matter what you’re passionate about, what your major is, there is a place for you here.
Hi, I’m Maddie! I’m studying Communications Journalism and Portuguese with a special interest in international media. My hobbies include hiking at low altitudes, learning how to cook with less butter, and crazy car-singing! I’m especially passionate about the acclimation of refugees and promoting women’s rights across the globe.
I love the Ballard Center because here it’s possible to turn your passion into actions! I’ve been both inspired by the efforts my peers and empowered by the numerous resources available here to make real change not only in the world but in myself as well. So whether you’re ready to launch your own non-profit or simply want to be a part of a meaningful club, we’ll find exactly where you fit in!
Hi! I’m Tiffany. I’m studying urban planning with an international development minor. I love learning all about how the way we build cities affects our lives. My favorite city I’ve been to is London, or maybe Copenhagen. It’s a tossup. One thing I could go on and on about is art history! Art museums are my happy place!
The Ballard Center has shown me that life after graduation doesn’t have to be so intimidating! Taking classes through the Ballard Center can help you see what it’s like to reach goals and carry out projects in the social impact field. If you have questions about how you can make your career meaningful, and find ways to make a difference and help people, the Ballard Center is an amazing resource.
